We are committed to modern working practices, technologies and behaviours which support local and international initiatives to reduce our impact on the environment.

Policies we have identified and put in place to date are listed below.

Reducing Consumption

• Ensure lights and computers are powered down when not in use
• Avoid printing and paper documents wherever possible
• Utilise up to date equipment to reduce energy usage
• Review energy usage regularly to evaluate any increases
• Prefer greener energy options

Commuting and Travel

• Use latest communication technology to reduce travel where possible
• Encourage Hybrid working to reduce commuting and improve welfare

Recycling

• Separate rubbish in line with Local Authority collections
• Minimise waste by reusing or extending life of consumables where possible

Staff Awareness

• Ensure staff are aware of these policies and understand their importance
• Support staff decision making and education 

Partnerships

• Choose suppliers who share our values
• Prefer local partners to reduce unnecessary delivery distances
• Prefer Datacenters invested in reducing consumption such as those using 25% less than the  average data centre and are CO2 neutral, using technologies such as cooling with clean hydropower.
